Applications GIDS Aliganj Lucknow are invited for the following positions on a purely temporary basis in the project on “Social and Educational Status of OBC/Dalit Muslims GIDS Aliganj Lucknow Recruitment 2014 Giri Institute of Development Studies in Uttar Pradesh”. The project is sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi for a period of two years at the Institute. It involves intensive field survey based research in urban and rural areas:

GIRI INSTITUTE OF DEVELOPMENT STUDIES, LUCKNOW

GIDS Research Associate (01 post): Initially for a period of one year extendable for one year subject to satisfactory work performance
i) Post graduate (55% of marks) in any Social Science discipline and with good academic record and computing skills. Desirable: UGCs JRF.NET/SLET.

Research Assistant GIDS (02 posts): for a period of six months
i) Post graduate in any Social Science discipline (50% of marks) with good academic record and computer skills as per requirements.
Consolidated salary ranges between Rs.12000/- to 14000/- per month.

Research Investigator GIDS (10 posts): for a period six months

Research Investigator (10 posts): for a period six months.
i) Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline and computing skills as per requirement.
ii) Preference will be given to those who have experience of data collection/data entry on computer.
iii) Consolidated salary up-to Rs.10000/- per month.
