KSTCL Recruitment 2014 Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts :
1. Finance & Accounts-3 vacancies on contract for 3 years.
The vacancies are in Kottayam Textiles, Kottayam;
Malabar Spinning & Weaving Mills, Kozhikode.
Qualification : C.A. (Inter)/I.C.W.A. (Inter).
Experience : 2 years’ post
experience in Textile Sector.
Age limit : Maximum 40 years as on 1.5.2014 with usual relaxation to SC/ST/OBC.
Salary : Consolidated monthly salary of Rs.25,000 during the first year, Rs.27,500 during the
second year and Rs.30,000 during the third year.
2.Junior Manager (Electrical) 1 vacancy – Permanent.
The vacancy is at Prabhuram Mils, Alleppey.
Qualiication : SSLC, Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience : 5 years post
reputed Textile Mill.
Age limit : 18-36 as on 1

Salary : Gross salary at the minimum of the scale of pay of Rs.10790
Rs.29,715 per month. In addition to salary, other benefits like Contributory P

3.Supervisor (Textiles) - 7 vacancies on contract for 3 years.
The vacancies are in Prabhuram Mills, Alleppey (2 Nos.); Kottayam Textiles, Kottayam
(1 No.); Edarikkode Textiles, Malappuram (2 Nos.) and Malabar Spinning & Weaving Mills,
Calicut (2 Nos.).
Qualification : S.S.L.C., Dilploma in Textile Technology.
Experience : 2 years post-qualification experience in a textile mill.
Age limit : 18-36 as on 1.5.2014 with usual relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC
communities.
Salary : Consolidated monthly salary of Rs.15,000 during the first year, Rs.16,500 during the
second year and Rs.18,500 during the third year.
4.Worker Trainee (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes) – 10 vacancies.
The vacancies are in Prabhuram Mills, Kottayam Textiles, Edarikkode Textiles and Malabar
Spinning & Weaving Mills and the postings will be made according to the availability of
vacancies at each Mill. Once posted in a particular Mill, they will be in the rolls of that
particular Mill.
Qualification : VII Std. Passed.
Age limit : Maximum 40 years as on 1.5.2014
Salary : Stipend for 18 months (first 6 months-Rs.150 per day, second 6 months-Rs.200 per
day and third 6 months – Rs.225 per day). After successful completion of training category
basic wages and other allowances as per Mill Rules will be paid.
