New Appointments In India 2014 In Business Industries Of India

Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) has a new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in Manoj Vaish.

Vaish is currently the Managing Director of NSDL Database Management.
He was earlier an Executive Director of the BSE between 1998 and 2004 and CEO of financial services research firm Dun & Bradstreet.

Tata Sons announced appointment of Shankar Venkateswaran as Chief — Tata Sustainability Group with the responsibility of driving group level initiatives in the sustainability space, and guiding Tata Sons and the group companies on sustainability and CSR initiatives.
Venkateswaran will report directly to Mukund Rajan, Member — Group Executive Council, Brand Custodian and Chief Ethics Officer, Tata Sons, a company statement said.
Before joining Tata Sons, Shankar was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) India as Director — Sustainability. A mechanical engineer from IIT Madras and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, he has over 31 years of experience of working in the corporate & development sectors.

He took charge from H.S. Upendra Kamath, who has demitted the office of CMD on attaining superannuation on 31 December 2013

S.K. Sharma has take charge as the Chairman and Managing Director of defence public sector Bharat Electronics Limited.
Sharma joined BEL in 1978 after graduating from the University College of Engineering, Bangalore.
He has wide experience in multiple disciplines covering Electronic Warfare, Avionics, Network Centric Systems, Radars and Components, having served in various capacities at BEL's Bangalore, Ghaziabad and Hyderabad Units.

P. Madhusudan, Director (Finance), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) – Vizag Steel Plant, assumed charge on Wednesday as the company’s CMD. A.P Choudhury retired from the post.
