One of Indian cinema's most popular cult classic films 'Sholay' 3D is released on January 3, 38 years after its original release.
While some of the original cast and crew seem to have no objection with this, the film's director Ramesh Sippy had made his anti-release stand very clear.
The Bombay High Court too rejected his plea seeking a stay on the release of Sholay's 3D version made by his nephew Sasha over a copyright dispute.
However the film's writers Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan have been promoting the film in full swing.
On the eve of the re-release of the film, Sholay3D was trending on Twitter with reactions of fans and their opinion on releasing the classic film in 3D.
While some were nostalgic some agree with Ramesh Sippy.
