University of Rajasthan (RU) will now start admission processes for LL.B three-year course after the Bar Council of India (BCI) gave the green signal for the sameon Sunday. Admission notification will now be issued shortly by the university.Sony Mobile Gprs Settings

The admission to the three-year LL.B course was halted by the BCI owing to shortage of staff and teacher on ad hoc basis in the law faculty. 

However, BCI had permitted it to admit students to five-year law course on certain conditions. Samsung Mobiles Gprs Settings

RU advertised for 24 posts of associate professors in the faculty to be filled in.

The appointment process was subjected to two new guidelines, one regarding the ratio of candidates to be called for interview and the other was criterion regarding qualification for participating in the interview.

The RU, as per the new UGC guidelines, had called 10 person against one post. Further only those persons who were enrolled for PhD after taking a pre-test were allowed directly to participate in the interview while for the other PhD holders it was mandatory to have NET/JRF qualification in addition to PhD degree.Micro Max Mobiles Gprs Settings

University of Rajasthan PRO Bhupender Singh Shekhawat said---
"We have almost completed the selection process on the 24 advertised posts for law lecturers and the result will now be placed before the university syndicate for its approval. 

The new law teachers would be asked to join services with immediate effect. We have placed the entire material before the Bar Council of India that authorized the university to start admission process LL.B course with immediate effect. The university will soon issue admission notification for the course of LL.B shortly.


The Bar Council of India -BCI is the regulatory body of law studies in India and for enrolment and other actions regarding lawyers in the country.
