Government allots Rs 1,300cr to Post Bank
Rs 1,300 crore to the proposed Post Bank of India to meet its capital requirements even as the department of financial services (DFS) - the wing in the finance ministry that deals with state-run banks and their policies - chose to stay away from the issue.
The proposal's backing by the expenditure finance commission and its subsequent green light by finance minister P Chidambaram is seen as the official go-ahead by the finance ministry, ignoring the DFS's stance. The DFS position is seen as the first instance of the agency not backing the Post Bank's plan, which officers in the department have privately mocked at.
Google to launch Moto X phone on August
Google's Motorola division appears set to unveil its much anticipated Moto X phone on August 1 at an event in New York City.
Motorola, which Google bought for $12.5 billion, has steadily ceded market share to Apple and Samsung Electronics, with most of its latest phones garnering relatively lukewarm receptions.
In May, Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside said at the AllThingsD technology conference that the new Moto X phones would be built in the United States.

उत्तरी अमेरिका के यूटा के रेगिस्तान में वैज्ञानिकों ने डायनासोर की एक नयी असाधारण प्रजाति का पता लगाया है।
इसलिए इसका नाम नासुटोसेराटॉप्स रखा गया है जिसका अर्थ है बड़ी नाक और विशाल सींगों वाला।
इस विशाल जानवर की खोज पहली बार 2006 में यूटा के एक क्षेत्र में हुई थी।
मार्क लोवेन ने कहा कि उन्हें इसके जीवाश्मों का विस्तार से अध्ययन करने में कई साल लग गये।
ये अवशेष 75 साल पुरानी एक चट्टान में मिले हैं। जिससे अंदाज़ा लगाया जा सकता है की ये जानवर बीते क्रीटेशस युग में ज़मीन पर घूमा करते थे।
उन्होने कहा कि इस समूह के डायनासोर के समूहों में इस प्रजाति के सींग सबसे बड़े पाए गये। इसके सींग आगे की तरफ़ और किनारों पर फैले हुए हैं।
इसके अलावा अपने समूह में इस डायनासोर की नाक भी सबसे ज़्यादा बड़ी है।

जिस रेगिस्तान में यह खोज की गयी वह क्षेत्र कभी लारमीडीया महाद्वीप के अंतर्गत आता था जिसे जीवाश्मों के खजाने के रूप में जाना जाता है।
