Uttar Pradesh Legislature Members of first U.P. Assembly to be felicitated
The former Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Raja Ram Kisan and Kamal Ahmed Rizvi, who were elected MLAs in 1952 and were members of the first State Legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha), will be felicitated during the special joint sitting of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature (Vidhan Bhavan) .
They are the only surviving members of the first Assembly, which had its term from 1952 to 1957. President Pranab Mukherjee will be the chief guest. He will also release a postal stamp on the Legislature.
