1.Fitter general Mechanic (Skilled)---12--
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institute or Board with knowledge of English.
(b) Should hold National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by National Council of Vocational Training in the Fitter or Equivalent Trade.
OR
Mechanic or equivalent with 02 (two) years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
2.Fitter Electronic (Skilled)-05
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institute or Board with knowledge of English.
(b) Should hold National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by National Council of vocational Training in the following trades:-
Mechanic, Electronic, Radio Mechanic, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic or equivalent
OR
Mechanic or equivalent with 02 (two) years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Applications on the enclosed Performa with attested copies of certificates / testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, technical qualifications, experience, caste, Ex serviceman as per orders etc showing the particulars as per Performa should reach to GPO, Post Box No 361, Mumbai 400 001 by ordinary post only within 30 (Thirty) days from last date of publication of advertisement in Employment News Weekly, and within 37 (Thirty seven) Days in respect of applications received from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division or Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep. Applications received after due date to any reason will not be considered.

(a) The application form in the prescribed format (neatly typed in „A4‟ sheet) is to be filled by the candidate in his / her own handwriting, in CAPITAL LETTERS only.
(b) The envelope containing the application should be clearly super - scribed in BOLD CAPITALS on the extreme left corner of the cover with the name of the post applied for and reservation category viz SC/ST/OBC/UR/Ex S/M, as applicable.
(c) The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for screening test/written examination/ interview and subsequent selection.
(d) Eligible candidates working in Government services must submit their application through proper channel along with No Objection Certificate from the Competent Authority.
