Accounts Division, Central Statistics Office, Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation, Government of India.
Number of positions of Consultants: 5 (five) -Tentative
mospi Educational Qualification/mospi Experience:
(i) Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree from an Indian university in
Statistics/Applied Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Economics.
(ii) Essential skill / experience: Basic knowledge of computer programming having capability to handle databases and work with MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS, Visual Basic and STATA.
mospi Desirable:
a. ISS written examination qualified.
b. Experience in data handling in computerized environment.
(b) Age limit: Up to 30 years as on 31st December 2013.
(c)mospi Selection and remuneration:
(i) Selection would be done by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee of the
Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
(ii) Selected candidate would be taken as Consultant on contract basis.
Tentative period of contract would be of one year.
