Assam Postal Circle Recruitment 2014
Application are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the posts of (i)
Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS) for the year 2009-2012 and (ii) Postman/Mail Guard for the
year 2010-2012 in 11 postal units of Assam Postal Circle.
One candidate can apply for only one category of Post i.e. either Multi Tasking Staff or Postman/Mail Guard.
For Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS) in the pay band of Rs. 5200- 20200 with Grade Pay Rs.1800+ admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time
and
Postman/Mail Guard in the pay band Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2000 + admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time.
Age limit: (i) For Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS) 18-27 years ( Relaxable for Government criteria upto the age of 35 year) For Postman/Mail Guard: 18 to 27 years
Educational Qualification: -
a. For Multi- Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation or ITI from recognized Boards.
b. For Postman/Mail Guard: Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
How to Apply:-
(i) The Applicant has to access the website
Official Webite to apply On Assam Postal Circle for seeing the detailed Notification/Advertisement issued by the Department and the Instruction Sheet/Information Brochure.
(ii) Before starting Registration of his/her application on the website, the
Applicant should read the notification, instruction sheet and FAQs
carefully. He/she has to evaluate his/her eligibility for the category.
His/her eligibility will be evaluated during the registration process and the
process shall terminate for ineligible applicants and reasons there for
would be prompted.
Cost of Application Form registration: Rs.100 for all categories of applicants who have registered.
Examination Fee: - The Examination fee prescribed for all male applicants in General an OBC categories is Rs. 400/-. Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes/Scheduled Tribes/Physically Impaired/Women are exempted from payment Examination Fee.
