National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is an Autonomous Institute of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India recently created by converting its erstwhile Solar Energy Centre to function as an Apex National Centre for research and technology development and related activities in the areas of Solar Energy Technologies in the Country. NISE is located on a 200 acre campus at the Gurgaon- Faridabad Road, Gwalpahari, Gurgaon. The Institute works on development of Solar Energy Technologies and practices and contributes in advancement of related Science and Engineering.

2 (Two) Senior Consultants
Solar Thermal (ST) – 1 No.
Solar Photovoltaic(SPV) – 1 No.
(i) Essential Qualification(s)
Master’s degree in Science or M.Tech in Engineering / B. Tech. with Ph. D in Solar Energy from a recognized university
(ii) Experience :
Working Experience should be more than 20 years in the relevant field (ST or SPV). Senior Professor with Experience / Scientist (Retired or Retiring) with several years of research experience /R&D projects
Consultancy/organizing training program and having exposure for Indian and foreign Universities will be preferred.
(iii) Desirable
Retired Senior Professor/Director of an R&D institution/ Leader of Research Group will be Preferred.
Consolidated remuneration Rs. 75,000 per month.
2. 2 (Two) Research Associate
Solar Thermal – 1 No.
Solar Photovoltaic – 1 No.
(i) Essential Qualification(s)
B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrical &
Electronics / Electronics &communication
/Telecommunication / Instrumentation) / Solar
Energy/ M.Sc. (Physics or Renewable Energy)
from a recognized university with at least 65 %
marks or equivalent CGPA with 4 years’
experience (R & D centres / Institutions/
Universities) OR M.Tech (in Solar Energy or
Energy) with at least 65 % or equivalent CGPA
and 2 years’ of work Experience in solar
energy OR Ph.D. in the field of Solar energy
(ii) Desirable: Research experience in the
field of Solar Energy.
Consolidated remuneration Rs. 50,000 per month

At least 2 years of experience in data entry and knowledge of Ms office, visual basic, mat-lab
(iii) Desirable
Good knowledge of English and D.T.P will be
