Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education Career (HBCSE), a National Centre of TIFR invites applications for the post tenable at HBCSE, Mumbai.
Scientific Officer – D: One Post in the Pmay Band (PB-3): Rs. 15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay: Rs. 6600/- ;
Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 61850/-; HQ: Mumbai.
Qualification: M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electronics & Communications.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in relevant field.
Desirable: 2 years experience in System Administration including atleast 1 year in GNU/Linux based
system. Sound knowledge of GNU/Linux System Administration as well as clients with Windows.
Job Description: System Administration of Central Servers, Manage and monitor the network and
websites and plan, install and manage servers, network elements and other computer facilities to
serve the needs of the Centre.
Age: Below 35 years.
Higher starting salary could be considered for deserving candidates. The candidates are liable to be
transferred to other Centres/Field stations of the Institute, if required.
