The Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd, a Public Sector Undertaking of Govt. of Odisha is the largest
State PSU in the Country in Mining Sector. It recorded an annual turnover of Rs.1658 Crores & net profit ofRs.896 Crores in the year 2012-13.
OMC intends to fill-up the following Non-Executive vacant posts on regular basis.

JE(Civil) 29 (09-Only for Female)

Starting Basic pay of Rs. 9300/- with G.P of Rs. 4200/- & other allowances as admissible at par withNon-Executives of similar grade of the Corporation in the scale of pay of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Rs. 4200/-in P.B-2.

JE(Mech.) 03

Starting Basic pay of Rs. 9300/- with G.P of Rs. 4200/- & other allowances as admissible at par with
Non-Executives of similar grade of the Corporation in the scale of pay of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Rs. 4200/-in P.B-2

JE(Elect.)--07 (01-Only for Female)

 Starting Basic pay of Rs. 9300/- with G.P of Rs. 4200/- & other allowances as admissible at par with Non- Executives of similar grade of the Corporation in the scale of pay of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Rs.4200/- in P.B-2.

Surveyor 31 (09-Only for Female)-Diploma in Mines Survey

Foreman (Min.) 07-Diploma in Mining with Foreman
Competency Certificate

Jr. Executive Asst. -63 (20-Only for Female)
Degree in any discipline from a
recognized University with Diploma in
Computer Application. There will be no
requirement of DCA certificate for
candidates having MCA, BCA, B.Sc. (IT),
B.Sc (CS), etc.

Jr.Accountant-23 (07-Only for Female)
Degree in Commerce

Asst.Teacher(TG) 09 (02-Only for Female)-Teacher degree

Jr. Pharmacist-14 (06-Only for Female)
+2 Science with Diploma In Pharmacy from recognized University / Institute & Approved by Indian Pharmacy Council.

Electrician-III-11 (02-Only for Female)

Starting Basic pay of Rs. 5,640/- with G.P of Rs. 2,000/- with 2 extra increment at the time of entry & other allowances as admissible at par with Non- Executives of similar grade of the Corporation in the scale of pay of Rs. 5,200- 20,200/- + G.P of Rs. 2,000/- in P.B-1.

Note:- (i) Out of 9 (nine) post of Asst. Teacher(TG) 01(one) post each shall be filled up by candidates with
B.Sc.(PCM),B.Sc.(CBZ) & B..Ed. qualification & 4 posts by candidates with English Hons. in +3 level
with English as one of the method of teaching in the B.Ed. examination.

Diploma in Engineering from a AICTE recognized Institute.
Age as on 31.03.2014

Not below 18 yrs. & above 32 yrs. Relaxation of 5 yrs. age for SC/ST/SEBC/Only for Female candidates as per norms & 10 yrs. for departmental & PWD candidates .

Selection methodology
 Eligible candidates will be short listed on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination
specified against each post. However all the departmental candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria
will be short listed.
 Selection will be made on the basis of Personal Interview of short-listed candidates.
