A) For the candidates possessing a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
Total 216 posts
Note: Candidates possessing qualification in other disciplines/branches other than what is specified above need not apply
Other Qualifications:
i) Should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing.
ii) Should have normal eye sight.
iii) Should have satisfactory physical fitness and shall qualify in the Endurance Test.
3) Eligibility:
The candidates who have obtained minimum percentage of marks as prescribed below in the respective qualifying examinations only are eligible to apply for the posts.

4) Selection :
i) Recruitment to the posts of Assistant Lineman will be made by selection strictly on merit, based on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination only.
ii) Eligible candidates will be called for Endurance Test in the ratio of 1:5.
iii) Medical Examination will be conducted from the competent Medical officer during the endurance
Age:
The candidates should have attained the age of 18 years as on the last date fixed for receipt of application and shall not be more than;
i) 35 years in case of General Merit candidates.
ii) 38 years in case of Category IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB candidates.
iii) 40 years in case of SC/ ST and Category I candidates.
Application Fee:
1) Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Candidate and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
2) Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category.
Special Note: Candidate who pays the requisite application fee, by obtaining ‘Bank Challan’, during the Banking hours between 15.03.2014 to 15.04.2014 after submitting the application through ‘On-Line’; only such applications will be considered for recruitment.
The application fee paid before or after the NOTIFIED DATE, such candidate`s application will not be considered for recruitment purpose and the amount paid will not be adjusted or refunded under any circumstances.
