Hiring of Consultants under the IDA assisted ICDS System Strengthening & Nutrition
Improvement Project (ISSNIP) (Credit No 5150-IN)
The Government of India has received a credit from the International Development Association
(World Bank) for implementation of the “ICDS Systems Strengthening and Nutrition Improvement
Project (ISSNIP)”. The project has been designed to support the Chhattisgarh state and its 11
districts (92 ICDS projects) to strengthen the Integrated Child Development Services ((ICDS)
Programme with the long term goal of improving child development and nutrition outcomes. The
project will be implemented in state , with a special focus on 11 high-malnutrition burden
districts.
The project will be implemented in 92 ICDS projects of 11 districts, list of which
can be viewed on www.issnip.cgwcd.com. Summary of positions of the consultants is as follows :
1.(Nutrition & Child Development) State Project Management Unit 01 posts
Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition/Public Health or related field that includes courses on community nutrition/public health.
2.Consultant (BCC & Capacity Building), State Project Management Unit 01
Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in Health Communication or Social
Sciences or Rural Development either with formal courses on communication and
participatory training or with relevant work experience.
3.Consultant (Social Development & Community Mobilization), State Project Management Unit
Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Socialm Work, Sociology or Anthropology.
4.Consultant (Monitoring & Evaluation) State Project Management
Graduate Degree in Statistics/ Economics/Demography/Anthro pology/Development Planning/Social Work

Consultant (Procuremen) State Project Management Unit-01
Post graduate degree in Engineering/Science/Accounting with training in Procurement and Supply Chain Management;

Consultant (Financial Management) State Project Management
Retired Officer from the State Finance/Treasury/Audit, Services/AG with experience in budgeting, audit and treasury functions;

Consultant (Accountant) State Project Management Unit
Graduate degree in Commerce/Accounting or C.A/ ICWA (Intermediate level) pass.

Project Associate State Project Management
Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Management/Social Sciences,

Secretarial Assistant State Project Management Unit
Passed 10+2 from recognized board or passed old higher secondary along with first year passed of
graduation from a recognized university.

1. The Department seeks to hire services of Consultants with expertise in the specific technical
areas, to provide technical and management support in the implementation of the ISSNIP
project.
2. As per Govt. of India/ World Bank Guidelines, the above positions come under hiring of
services of consultants/experts for the project period. Thus it should not be considered as
recruitment of manpower.

4. In first phase of the project, these services will be hired upto 31 December 2015 only.

6. Aspirants can fill online application on the aforesaid website.
7. Application uploaded incomplete or after the due date will not be considered.
8. Applications of only eligible applicant will be considered.
9. List of applicants will be put on website inviting claim of objection.
10. Decision of Project Director ISSNIP will be final and binding.
11. Only online applications will be entertained.
