Insurance Agent Recruitment 2014 How To Become Insurance Agent

Age: Completed 18 years.


Qualification: 12th Standard or equivalent examination conducted by any recognised Board/Institution.

Training: Practical training will be of 50 hours at our IRDA approved training centers and 75 hours of training in case of composite ( life and general) insurance agency. Training is to be spread over 3 weeks and 4 weeks respectively. There is relaxation of hours to 50 and 70 respectively in case you have certain extra prossional qualification. In case of renewal of licenses for existing agents, the hours of training required is 25 and in case of composite 50 respectively.

Examination:

After successful completion of training, you will have to appear for Online Examination and Pass in examination with 35% marks to be conducted by NSEIT, Mumbai or any other body approved by IRDA for 100 marks in 2 hours.

Process:

Contact your nearest offices. Every office of our is having one Agent counsellor (AC) exclusively dedicated for you. They will upload your details like: Name, Father’s Name, Qualification, PAN, Address, Mobile no. & E-mail ID etc. along with scan copy of photograph and signature on IRDA (Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority) Portal

B. You will be sponsored with above details for training as well as examination.
After the completion of training you will have to pass the examination.

After completion of above process and passing the examination you will receive a license issued through IRDA Portal to work as an Insurance Agent of Company.
This Licence will be valid for three years after which it can be renewed.
