1. Applications are invited in the PRESCRIBED printed FORM from eligible candidates who are Indian citizens and who are domiciled in the State of Meghalaya to fill up the under mentioned categories of vacancies in Armed Branch for the Special Forces-10 (SF-10). Application forms will be available with effect from 1st March 2014 onwards, through offices of all District Superintendents of Police and Commandants of MLP Battalions and Principal, PTS Mawroh Shillong on payment of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty Only).
Recruitments shall be carried out to fill up the following posts carrying scales of pay as indicated against each:

Scale of Pay: Rs 8300-210-9770- EB -270-12200-370-16270/- (plus other allowances and special allowances as admissible under the Rules from time to time.)
6. Drivers 40
Scale of Pay:For matriculates Rs 8300-210-9770- EB -270-12200-370-16270/- (plus other allowances and special allowances as admissible under the Rules from time to time.
For Class Nine passed Rs 7700-190-9030-EB-250-11280-340-15020/- (plus other allowances and special allowances as admissible under the Rules from time to time)
7. Followers (Only Males) 60
Scale of Pay Rs 6500-160-7620-EB-210-9510-290-12700/- (plus other allowances and special allowances as admissible under the Rules from time to time.)
The above 60 (sixty) vacancies of followers are distributed trade wise as follows:
a. Cook - 30
b. Barbers - 10
c. Water carriers - 05
d. Sweepers - 10
e. Dhobi - 05
CANDIDATES CAN APPLY ONLY FOR ONE CATEGORY OF POSTS
THE LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION IS 1st April 2014.
The application form should be submitted along with attested copies of the following:
i. 4 (four) recent passport size photographs.
ii. S.T./ S.C. Certificate – for S.T./ S.C. candidates as applicable.
iii. Age certificate as per HSLC/SSLC Certificates/Admit Cards or their equivalent certificate testifying the date of birth/age.
iv. Educational Qualification certificates.

1. Physical Efficiency Tests - 200 marks
2. Written Examination
