The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, an autonomous research
organization under ESSO/MoES, fully devoted to cutting edge research in various aspects of climate
science. It’s activities include training to post graduates and motivate them to take up research
careers in atmospheric and oceanic sciences required to improve prediction skill of weather and climate.
The Institute has excellent infrastructural facilities such as High Performance Computers,
modern library, workshop and other scientific support. It has a strong link with various universities and
national and international organizations.
Applications are invited from young Post Graduates/Graduates for the posts of Deputy
Manager and Senior Executive at the Institute.

Qualifications:
Essential:
1) A Bachelors Degree from recognized university.
2) Basic knowledge of computer.
3) Minimum 6/10 years experience preferably in Govt. /PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ in
the relevant area in PB-1 + GP `2800 /2400/- respectively or its equivalent.
Desirable:
i) Post Graduation in any field
Age Limit : 35 years as on 31.03.2014;
