Recruitment of Medical Officers (Ayurveda) in ESI Corporation
Online Applications (through website of ESICat www.esic.nic.in) are invited for filling up the post ofMedical Officer (Ayurveda) in ESICHospitals/Dispensaries inthe following States.
Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on 31st January, 2014. Upper age limit is relaxable
upto 5 years for employees of ESI Corporation and Government servants in accordance with
the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt. Upper age limit is also relaxable to
SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen & other categories of persons as per rules/instructions of
Govt. of India.
Essential Qualifications:
1. A degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University / Statutory State Board /
Councill Faculty of Indian Medicine or equivalent under Indian Central Council Act,
1970 (48 of 1970).
2. Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine orState Register of Indian
Medicine.
3. Language test: The candidate shall have to pass a qualifying middle standard test in
official language of the State concerned where the vacancies are notified.
The selected candidates will be kept posted and transferred anywhere in the State chosen
in the Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100/- and Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- in the respective cadre, as far
as possible, but they are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

All other categories 225/-
Mode of payment: - A Demand Draft of Rs.225/-(as applicable) in favour of "E.S.I. Fund
Account No. I" drawn on any scheduled bank payable at New Delhi has to be submitted
alongwith the System Generated hard copy of application.
How to apply: - Only System Generated Applications (through website of ESIC) along
with the required necessary document in an envelope super scribed "Application for the
post of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) for (Name of the State where
candidate wants to apply)" should be SEnt by Registered Post/Speed Post so as to reach the
following address on or before 7th February, 2014 (14th February, 2014 for candidates
residing in far flung areas):-
