Who can apply ---

Officers retired from Bank’s Service who are not more than 64 years as on 1st September 2014 with good credit background and track record in the scales of SMGS-IV, SMGS-V and TEGS-VI and should preferably be a resident of the area or willing to reside, by making his own arrangements, at the respective ZIO Centre.

Experience

Officers with good Credit Background and track record. Preference will be given to officers who have worked for a minimum period of 2 years as Credit Auditors or RFIA
Auditors having audited Group-I Branches.

Period of Engagement

Period of engagement shall be for a period of one year subject to review of performance at half yearly intervals. On completion of one year, if the Officer’s performance is satisfactory and on his suitability and requirement of the Bank, the contract of service may be renewed for a further period of one year each at a time. ( Period of engagement not to exceed three years and age not to exceed 65 years )

Monthly

SMGS IV & V: Rs.42,000/- p.m without prejudice to pension. TEGS-VI: Rs.60,000/- p.m without prejudice to pension. Not eligible for any other perquisites from the Bank.
Deduction of Income Tax at source as per extant provisions.

The contractual officer is not eligible to claim PF/Bonus/Pension during the period of contract or thereafter. Not eligible for membership of SBI Pension Fund/Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (New Pension Scheme) and SBI Employees Provident Fund

Responsibility

The job involves review of minimum of 4 sanctions per day, with exposures of above Rs.1 Cr. and below Rs.5 Cr. under ESR system. The review should be aimed at
achieving the following objectives of ESR system. To capture the critical risks that exist in the proposals Apprise these critical risks and other observations on the sanction to the respective Controllers for mitigation thereof at the earliest Improve the quality of pre-sanction process/sanctions in respect of exposures
falling in this category Improve the quality of sourcing of loan proposals

Application may be submitted to AGM of respective ZIOs.

The engagement shall be up to the maximum age of 65 years, subject to other conditions regarding renewal of contract. As such, the Applicant should not be more than
64 years of age at the time of empanelment
