ELIGIBILITY
i) Upper Age Limit: 28 yrs. (as on 01.12.2013.)
Essential Qualification and Experience ( as on 25.01.2014)
Matriculation & Three years full time Diploma in Engineering from Govt. recognized institute in any of the following disciplines:-
Mechanical
Electrical
Civil
Instrumentation
Metallurgy
Chemical
Ceramics
Electronics & Telecom
Survey/Civil#
Candidates opting for survey stream may have a full time 3 year Diploma in Survey or Civil Engineering from Govt. recognized institution
SELECTION PROCEDURE
Eligible candidates will be required to appear in Written Examination. On the basis of their performance in the Written Examination they will be called for Interview. Information for Written test and Interview will be provided on our website www.sail.co.in.
TRAINING & PROBATION:
Candidates selected as Operator-cum-Technician Trainee will be placed on training for a period of 2 Years which may be extended by another two years as per requirement. On successful completion of training period, they shall be regularized as Operator-cum-Technician in S-3 Grade. After successful completion of Training, Candidates shall be placed under probation for 1 year.
BENEFITS
Candidates selected as Operator-cum-Technician Trainee will be paid consolidated Pay of Rs. 10700/-pm during 1st year of training and Rs. 12200/-pm during the 2nd year of training. During the period of 2 years training, trainees will also get Medical facility for self , spouse and dependent children. Leave etc will be as per the rules of the company.
