Eastern Railway invites Applications from Outstanding Sports Persons for Recruitment against Sports Quota of Headquarters for the year 2013-14.

Qualification

CATEGORY (1)--06

PB-1, Pay R. 5200-20,200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 2400/2800/-

Minimum Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.

CATEGORY (2)--20

PB-1, Pay Rs. 5200-20,200/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000/-

Minimum pass in Matriculation or its equivalent.

Age Limit: 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2014.

Sports Disciplines: Archery (Men & Women), Athletics (Men)(Women), Chess (Men), Cue Sports, Athletics (Women), Badminton (Men)(Women), Basketball (Women), Bridge (Men), Cricket (Women), Cycling (Men), Hockey (Men), Powerlifting (Men), Table Tennis (Women), Volleyball (Women), Water Polo (Men), Weightlifting (Men).

Application Fee: 

Postal Order of Rs. 60/- for the post in scale PB-I Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2400/2800/- and 

Postal Order of Rs. 40/- for the post in scale PB-I Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900/2000/-and in PB-I GP Rs. 1800/- should be sent along with the application payable only at GPO/Kolkata. 

No Fees for SC/ST, Women, Minorities & Economically Backward Class Candidates.

Application on the prescribed format--

(i) Indian Postal order should be sent in favour of "FA & CAO/EASTERN RAILWAY" which is not refundable. 

(ii) Two self-addressed envelopes (11" X 5") duly stamped (Rs.5/-)
