Indian Institute of Packaging Admission 2014 iip Recruitment under Ministry of Commerce & Industry Govt. of India

Indian Institute of Packaging, an autonomous body under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India for vacancies at its Head Office at Mumbai, invites applications from bright young men and women who have qualified NET for Junior/Senior Research Fellowships (JRF/SRFs) .
Selected candidates will have to devote their full time to the research project. Research Fellows are not permitted to take up any other remunerative jobs/assignments during their tenure. The applications along with attested copies of certificate, mark sheets, Proof of NET clearance etc in a sealed envelope, mentioning “Applications for Research Fellows “ shall be forwarded to The Dy. Director (Admn & Accts), IIP, E-2, MIDC, Andheri (East), Mumbai-400093. Last date of receipt of application is 5th May, 2014. For details visit the Institutes website www.iip-in.com
General Instruction to the Candidates:
1. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: MSc in Microbiology or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least two years of post MSc research experience OR MSc in Microbiology or equivalent with at least 60% marks.
2. STIPEND AND TENURE: Rs. 18000/- per month for two year tenure. The term is extendable by one year on the basis of assessment of the progress already made.
3. AGE LIMIT: Maximum 28 years as on the last date of application. Age limit is relaxable by five years for SC, ST, OBCs and physically handicapped on production of suitable certificates from the competent authority. Women candidates are also given age relaxation of five years.
4. SELECTION PROCEDURE: Selection will be made through interview of candidates short-listed on the basis of their academic records, experience and assessment of research work, publications etc by the selection committee.
