Guwahati issued employment notification for the recruitment in Group-D posts. 

Application in the prescribed format from the citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for filling up total 1230 vacancies in Group-D.

1230 (UR-479, OBC-256, SC-142, ST-71, PH-36, ESM-246)

18 to 33 Years as on 01/01/2014

PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Age Relaxation: 38 Years

Qualification: Minimum 10th class pass or ITI or equivalent. 

Examination Fee: Rs.100/- for UR and OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, women, minorities, ex- serviceman and economically backward classes are exempted from payment of examination fees. The fee shall be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order from any Post office drawn in favour of FA&CAO, N.F. Railway and payable at GPO, Guwahati.
