Age Limit: Born on or after 01 Apr 1993 and on or before 01 April 2000 Relaxation of two years in upper age is available for SC/ST candidates.
Qualifications: Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as Main subject at degree level.
the candidate canalso apply Western Naval Command if he has the qualification of Diploma/Certificate Course in translation or two years experience of translation work form Hindi to English
Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/
Selection Procedure: Preliminary selection Is on the basis of marks obtained in Matric & ITI ,Physical Standards.
Examination Candidates in the Preliminary Merit list will be called tor written test in Dec 2014 Candidates placed in the interim merit list the basis of marks obtained in written examination, will be called for Interview/Medical In Jan / Feb 2014 The written examination for candidates from Andaman & Nicobar Islands will be conducted at INS Jarawa, Port Blair However Naval Dockyard are required to forward their applications to Mumbai.
Commencement of Training: December 2014
Rail fare: No rail fare is admissible for candidates called for written Examination.
Hostel: Limited Hostel accommodation (for boys only) is available for outstation candidates Rules prevail.
