Recruitment of Non-Teaching posts:-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY INDORE
Online applications are invited for the following posts for Indian Institute of Technology Indore. IIT Indore is a newly established Institute under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
1. Registrar - 1 Post (Un reserved)
The post is on contract basis and is for a maximum period of 5 years with option of regularization or on deputation basis as per Government of India rules.
Qualifications & Experience:
i) A post graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade. AND
ii) At least 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years (5 years in PB-3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/- and 3 years in PB-4 with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/-)
2. Deputy Registrar -1 (Unreserved)*
Qualification and Experience: Post Graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with experience in the relevant area in Government of India/Central Autonomous Bodies/PSUs with 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent administrative experience with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- or 9 years of experience a
3. Junior Assistant -1 (Reserved for PWD)
Qualification and Experience: A bachelor’s degree with three years experience or masters degree with one year experience in the field of administration / accounts / purchase relating fields in reputed organizations.
Desirable: Candidates having higher qualification and experience in educational institutions and having knowledge in computers and good working knowledge of English language will be preferred.
Pay Scale: (Rs. 5,200-20,200) Grade pay of Rs. 2,000/- (Total emolument on the minimum of pay in Pay Band is Rs. 18,526/- (as per present rates of DA and TA) per month plus HRA.
5. Junior Technical Superintendent (Basic Sciences) – 1 (un reserved)
Qualification and Experience: Master of Science / equivalent with one year experience in operation & maintenance of sophisticated analytical instruments.
Desirable:
• Applicant having research experience at master’s level with publication in peer reviewed journal will be preferred.
Pay Scale (Rs. 9,300 - 34,800) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- (Total emoluments on the minimum of pay in Pay Band is Rs. 29,870/-
The applicants must apply online through the link provided at institute website www.iiti.ac.in (till 31-3-2014) and printout of the same by affixing recent pass port size photo shall be submitted to institute through speed post along with self attested copies of required documents and application fee (if applicable) on or before 7-4-2014.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD communities, women and regular employees of IIT Indore are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates belonging to other than those mentioned above, must send a Demand Draft (Non Refundable) of ` 1,000/- for the post of Registrar and Deputy Registrar and ` 300/- for all other posts drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Indore, in favor of Registrar, IIT Indore along with the application.
