Bridge Course
No separate exam for bridge course
Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has decided not to
conduct separate examinations for the four subjects of the bridge course.
Instead, there will be one question of 14 marks in the main
paper of Semester I examination.
The bridge course was made compulsory from the first
semester of the engineering course this year.
The course is expected to give students a deeper
understanding of mathematics, elements of engineering, physics/chemistry,
English, information and communication technology (ICT), life skills, and state
cadet corps (SCC).
The new academic year of GTU bachelor of engineering (B.E.)
started from Monday. First-year students of B.E. studied the 6-week Bridge
Course during July and August 2013.
