West Bengal Forest Service: 17 posts
West Bengal Sub-ordinate Forest Service: 125 posts

Age Limit: 21 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 32 years as on 01-01-2013. 

Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Science or Engineering of any recognized University or Institute in the subjects of Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination (Conventional Type-Written) and Personality Test.

Application Fee: 

Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.210/- only by Indian Postal Order which must be purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal or by a receipted challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal of the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. 

The Postal Orders should be made payable 

at G.P.O,

Kolkata. 

SC/ST candidates of West Bengal are not required to pay any fee.

How to Apply: Candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with .P.O./Treasury Challan, in original, one copy of recent passport size photograph pasted on the application, attested or self-certified photocopies of certificates of age and prescribed educational qualification, caste certificate and two unstamped self-addressed envelopes enclosed in an envelope super scribed with the advertisement no. and name of the examination should reach
