OSSC Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Vacancies: 39 (UR - 20, SC - 06, ST - 09, SEBC - 04)
Name of the Post: Civil Judges
Age Limit: 18 -32 years as on 01-01-2014.
Age relaxations will be applicable as per the rules.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Graduate in Law of a University or Institution recognized by the Government.
(2) A Superintendent or a Ministerial Officer in the High Court or any Civil or Criminal Court sub-ordinate to the High Court or an Assistant Law Officer or Translator of the Law Department of Government, shall also be eligible for appearing at the Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Service, if he/she is a Graduate in Law
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs 300/- either through online or offline mode using the Treasury Portal or by the conventional mode of deposit in the Treasury. SC/ ST and PWD candidates are exempted from fee.
Online Payment: The payment will be made through at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) Net Banking of the designated banks or through Debit Card. On successful payment, an e-Challan will be generated from the Treasury portal.
Offline Payment: Choose any designated Bank provided in the Treasury Portal and then proceed to the Bank branch through Challan form deposited under the “Head of Account-0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees”.
Conventional Mode:
Deposit the fee through the conventional mode into the Treasury under the Head of Account 0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fees-0047-Fees collected for conducting examinations-02041-Examination Fees.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the based on Preliminary Examination, Written Examination & Practical Skill Test.
