NOTE:-
Applications are invited for Assistant Professor, Associate
Professor and Professors.
University reserves the right not to fill up any/all post(s)
and also to increase or decrease the number of posts.
University reserves the right to evolve uniform and
reasonable criteria for short listing of eligible candidates, if needed.
Attested copies of all relevant documents must be enclosed
along with application form including experience/ published work etc.
Incomplete application in any respect and applications
received after the last date will not be entertained.
1. Candidates already in service may
apply through proper channel.
2.
Interview
procedure may include: Spot test of the subject knowledge, Group discussion and
Presentation/Teaching followed by individual interview.
3.
Candidates
are expected to be proficient in Hindi and English.
4. Selected candidates will be given
appointment on probation for two years and salary will be payable as per the
University/State Government rules.
5. Self assessed Score for Academic
Performance Indicators (APIs), if required, will be determined as prescribed by
UGC Regulations, 2013, published in the Gazette of India, dated 13-06-2013.
6.
Those
who have already applied in Associate Professor (Law) and Associate Professor
(Computer Science and Cyber Security) need not to apply again. Latest updates
regarding qualification are acceptable from candidates who have already
applied.
Application
form with qualifications and other terms and conditions can be downloaded from
University website www.policeuniversity.ac.in. A Demand Draft of Rs.
1,000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) in favour of Registrar,
SARDAR PATEL UNIVERSITY OF POLICE, SECURITY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE, JODHPUR (payable
at Jodhpur) as prescribed fee should be enclosed with the application form. For
non-residents of State of Rajasthan, irrespective of reservation category,
application fee is Rs. 1,000/-. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories
must enclose relevant certificate issued by the competent authority.
The
complete application form, with all relevant documents as per the terms and
conditions along with fee as applicable, must reach to this office on or before
30 April, 2014 by 5.00 PM.

Candidate should remit a sum of Rs. 1,000/- (in case of SC/ST/PH
candidate a sum of Rs. 500/-) as application fee (non refundable) in the form
of bank draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Sardar Patel University of
Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur (payable at Jodhpur). For
non-residents of State of Rajasthan, irrespective of reservation category,
application fee is Rs. 1,000/-.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
(a) (i) An
eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in Public Safety / Disaster
Management. Published work of high
quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as
book and/or research / policy papers.
(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching
experience in university/college, and/ or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions/
industries, including experience of guiding
candidates for research at doctoral level.
(iii) Contribution to educational innovation,
design of new curricula and courses, and technology
– mediated teaching learning process.
(iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the
Academic Perfomrmance Indicator (API), Performance
Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in UGC Regulations 2013 in Appendix III, Amended Category - III
