Applications are invited to fill up the one post of Professor in the Department of Immunohaematology & Blood Transfusion in Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh, under the aegis of the Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Administration, by way of Promotion/Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) through Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi. 

Total Number of Vacant Positions: 1

Professor; Rs 37400-67000 + GP 10000/-; Age limit: 56 years

Qualification: A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register;

D.M. (Immunology) or M.D. (Immuno Haematology and Blood Transfusion)/M.D. (Pathology or Bacteriology or Haematology) with 2 year teaching experience or special training in the Department of Immuno Haematology and Blood Transfusion
equivalent;
10 year teaching experience in the profession after acquiring postgraduate qualification;
Experience: Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis; Or
2 year regular service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 16400-20000/- or equivalent.
