ASRB Recruitment 2013: Agricultural Scientist
Recruitment Board (ASRB) has released the notification of recruitment for 173
vacancies for different posts.
Willing and interested applicants may send their
applications in a prescribed format with all relevant documents before 10th
June 2013.

Who can apply?
Qualification: Applicants applying for ASRB must have
Doctoral Degree/ Doctoral Degree in Engineering/ Master Degree/ Post Graduate
Diploma in related field from a recognized university.
Age Limitation: Applicants maximum age should not exceed 60
years for RMP Posts, 52 years for Scientist Posts and 47 years for Senior
Scientist Posts as on 10/06/2013.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be on the basis of
performance in Interview.
Pay scale: Scale of pay will be Rs. 37,400 to Rs. 67,000/-.
Application Fee: Applicants will have to pay fee in form of
crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (or $50 for abroad applicants) valid for 3
months. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “Secretary, ASRB payable at
New Delhi, India”. However, there is no application fee for
SC/ST/Women/Physically handicapped.
How to apply: Applicants will have to send their
applications (filled with all mandatory details and should be in prescribed
format) along with Demand Draft, passport size photographs, two envelopes (27 X
12 cm) and copies of required certificates to:

Important Dates:
Closing date for receipt of duly filled applications:
10/06/2013.
However, for applicants applying from Abroad/ remote areas,
last date: 25/06/2013.
Last date for receipt of “Through Proper Channel” copy of
applications: 17/07/2013.
