Note:
i) Number of Vacancies whether General or Reserve are tentative and can increase or
decrease.
ii) 02 posts of Medical Officer (MO)/ Lady Medical Officer (LMO)/ Emergency Medical
Officer, are reserved for Persons with Locomotor Disabilities (Non Surgical), if available.
iii) In case OBC Category candidates are not available the candidates of General Category can be considered till GMCH does not get a candidate from the OBC Category being tenure post.

Qualifications--
Demonstrators (except for the Deptt. of Forensic Medicine) Medical Officer/ Lady Medical Officer
MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)/ M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty for
non-medical persons from Medical Institute/Faculty for Demonstrators
Note: The total marks obtained in all professionals of MBBS alongwith percentage of marks and maximum marks must be mentioned in the application form in the appropriate column.
Demonstrator and Emergency Medical Officer in the Deptt. of Forensic Medicine MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)
PAY SCALES:
FOR DEMONSTRATORS.
Pay scale: Rs. 10300-34800 (With initial start of Rs.13450/-) carrying grade pay
Rs.5000/- + NPA (for Medical Graduates only, if admissible).
FOR MEDICAL OFFICER (MO) / LADY MEDICAL OFFICER (LMO) & EMERGENCY MEDICAL OFFICER:
Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100 carrying grade pay Rs. 5400/- + NPA if admissible.
The applicants(s) should come with application format duly filled up alongwith photocopies of relevant certificates / testimonials, a recent passport size photograph and non-refundable fee of Rs.500/- {Rs.250/- in case of SC candidate(s)} by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director
Principal, GMCH, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh on 07-02-2014 at 10.00 AM in the office of undersigned. The applicants must also come with original certificates/testimonials.
The Walk-in-Interview will be held on 07-02-2014 at 10-00 AM in the office of
