India Law Institute signs MoU with Harvard
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Indian Law Institute (ILI), a deemed university, and Harvard School of Public Health Recruitment 2014 (HSPH Jobs 2014 ) has been signed by Prof. S. Sivakumar, Director in charge, ILI, and Prof. Claude Bruderlein of Harvard University joBS 2014 . The MoU is aimed at facilitating collaboration on research, policy development, teaching and professional development on International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in India. The MoU was signed in the Supreme Court in the presence of Chief Justice Altamas Kabir, who is the President of ILI, and Union Law Minister Ashwani Kumar, the vice-president of ILI.
Applications are invited in the prescribed form for filling of following teaching posts so as to reach
the Indian Law Institute, Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi latest by 09.06.2014.
Professor 02 (UR) 55 Years
i) An eminent scholar with consistently good academic records with Ph.D. qualification in
any branch of law and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with
evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and / or research /
policy papers.
ii) A minimum 10 years of teaching experience in university/law college, and/ or experience in
research at the University/ National Level institutions/ industries, including experience of
guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and
technology – mediated teaching learning process.
Associate Professor 02 (UR) 50 Years
Essential Qualifications:
(i) Consistently good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in any branch of law.
(ii) 55% of the marks, or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed in the
LL.M.
(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic /
research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ College or
Accredited Research Institution/ industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with
evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research
/ policy papers.
(iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and
technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided
doctoral candidates and research students.
Assistant Professor 05 (UR-3, 1-ST, 1-OBC) 45 Years
Essential Qualifications:
Consistently good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where
grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level LL.M. from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and
appointment of Assistant Professors in University/Colleges/Institutions

evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research
/ policy papers.
(iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and
technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided
doctoral candidates and research students.
Assistant Professor 05 (UR-3, 1-ST, 1-OBC) 45 Years
Essential Qualifications:
Consistently good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where
grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level LL.M. from an Indian University, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
