Brahmaputra
Northwest of the Brahmaputra in India, this is known as the largest river in the country. India is presented in the most eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh since, spent hundreds of thousands of Tibetan sacred Lake Manasarovar lake near his birthplace in tsangpo is. Indus Valley
Indus valley is one of the most deserving destinations of Leh Ladakh tourism. This valley is formed by the Indus River. KAVERI
River Kaveri originates in the Brahmagiri hills in Kodagu. This place is called Talakaveri or the head of Kaveri. The river starts its journey from the small pond called as Kundike pond, the two tributaries known as Kanake and Sujyoti joins it later in the course. All these three rivers meet at the point called Bhagamandala. It lies at an altitude of 1350 meters and generally flows from the direction of south to the eastward direction. The river has an approximate length of 760 km.
A unique segmented waterfall, the Shivasamudram gives rise to separate branches, each creating an aura of scenic magnificence. Making the second largest fall in India and the 16th largest in the world, the Shivasamudram comes to life as the Kaveri River winding its way through the rocks of the Deccan Plateau cascades over a cliff to form the spectacular Shivasamudram.
NARMADA RIVER
Narmada River is the only river in India that flows in a rift valley and is a traditional divider between North India and South India. Narmada River is a major river in peninsular India that flows from east direction to west direction, along with two other rivers like the Tapti River and Mahi River.
The place of origin of Narmada River is an open pool known as Narmada Kund. The main objective in these studies was to check the arrangements needed to be planned to discuss the Maheswar, Omkareswar, Indira Sagar and Sardar Sarovar projects.

It named TSANGPO in TIBBET,DIHANG AND DIBANG IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH.When the LOHIT RIVER
Joins this river in PASI GHAT then it called BRAHMAPUTRA RIVER.IN ASSOM it enters in the place named as NAMCHA BHAIRAV.The word TSANG PO namely called as shudh karney wala.
This is the only river which is 4000 m above the sea level in which is the highest boat water routes in the world .
In BANGLADESH BRAHMAPUTRA named as JAMUNA.
GANGA RIVER

Joins this river .in east the main rivers which joins GANGA are RAMGANGA,GANDAK,KOSI,GOMTI, AND GHAGHRA etc.It called PADMA in BANGALADESH. It flows as the name of MEGHNA when it combined in BAY OF BENGAL two major river JAMUNA(BRAHMAPUTRA) and PADMA(GANGA) IN CHANDPUR.
Before falling in BAY OF BENGAL the combination of GANGA and BRAHAPUTRA it creates the worlds biggest delta named as SUNDERBAN DELTA.
CHAMBAL RIVER creates big craters in country.
The birthplace of sindhu river is in pakistan but in INDIA IT ONLY 992 km.
Due to the agreement of INDO-PAK SINDHU WATER AGREEMENT 1960 INDIA only use the water of SUTLEJ,RAVI AND VYAS RIVER but not SINDHU,JHELUM AND CHENAB RIVER .
KOSI river is called sorrow of Bihar and DAMODAR river is called sorrow of Bengal.
GODAVARI,KRISHNA,KAVERI,PENNAR,TUNGA BHADRA AND MAHANADI FALLS IN BAY OF BENGAL.
AND NARMADA,TAPTI,MAHI,SABARMATI,LUNI FALLS IN ARAB SEA.
GODAVARI river is called old Ganga due to its huge shape.
Kaveri is called south ganga .the water dispute between TAMILNADU,KARNATAKA AND PONDICHERRY of Kaveri river.
The two major island called SHIV SAMUDRAM and SHRIRANGPATTAM are there river island in KAVERI.
THE Worlds biggest river island called MAJULI is there in BRAHMAPUTRA.
THE life line of Gujarat is called Narmada river.
KRISHNA RIVER
Krishna River starts its journey in the Western Ghats at an altitude of about 1300 metres above sea level in Mahabaleshwar. The river passes through Sangli District and enters the sea in the Bay of Bengal at Hamasaledevi in Andra Pradesh. It passes through the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andra Pradesh. Krishna River starts at Mahabaleswar near the Jor village in the extreme north of Wai taluka, Satara district, Maharashtra in the west and meets the Bay of Bengal at Hamasaladeevi in Andhra Pradesh, on the east coast. It flows through the state of Karnataka. Wai is the first city on the banks of Krishna in the Satara district. Sangli is the largest city on the river Krishna in Maharashtra state while Vijayawada is the largest city on the River Krishna in Andhra Pradesh.
MAHANADI RIVER
The Mahanadi River System rises in the Indian state of Chhatisgarh and then flows in the eastward direction, cutting a ravine in the Eastern Ghat. Before joining the Bay of Bengal at False Point through several channels, the river enters the plains of Orissa near Cuttack and forms a delta. This delta is one of the largest mangrove forests in peninsular India, and also a rice producing area.
The world`s largest earthen dam Hirakud Dam is built across this river in Sambalpur. The dam controls the flow of Mahanadi and produces hydroelectricity. Sambalpur town is situated in the Indian state of Orissa. Sambalpur is on the banks of the Mahanadi River, is a very famous tourist spot.
GODAVARI
The Godavari River rises near the Trimbak in the district of Nasik in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The river runs almost for a length of 1,465 km and has a total catchment area of 31mha. The river flows in the eastward direction through the states of Maharashtra and joins the Bay of Bengal in Andhra Pradesh. The main tributaries of the River Godavari are Penganga, Pranahita, Indravati, Manjeera, Sabari and Manair. It is the second largest river in India.
