The vacancies exist for Unreserved(UR) – 64 and reserved category i.e. Scheduled Castes (SC)- 19, Scheduled Tribes (ST)- 09 and Other Backward Class (OBC) - 33.
15 posts are reserved for PWD[OH(05) and HH(10)] as per Govt. of India directives including backlog vacancies.
Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with not less than 65% marks in
aggregate for Unreserved(UR) & Other Backward Class(OBC) and 55% of marks for SC/ST/PWD
category taking average of all the semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University.
The posts are identified for
as and where applicable as against horizontal reservation as per the Govt. guidelines.
NALCO will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering- 2014 scores(GATE-2014 scores) for recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees(GETs) in the above disciplines. Only GATE-2014 score is valid for this recruitment process. Based on the GATE-2014 score

NALCO finalise 300,000 T alumina export contract
India's state-run National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) has
finalised a long-term export
contract for 300,000 tonnes of alumina for deliveries in
2013 at 16.56 percent of the LME
aluminium price on a free on board (FOB) basis. NALCO, whose
tenders serve as a global
benchmark, sold 330,000 tonnes of alumina for deliveries in
2013 to a Singapore-based
buyer at 16.07 percent of the LME aluminium price on an FOB
basis.
