The University of Delhi is the premier university of the country and is known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty.
It was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the then Central Legislative Assembly Exam Delhi University Pre-Medical Test (DPMT) or University of Delhi Medical/Dental Entrance Test (DUMET), Delhi, India is an all-India entrance test to select students for admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses offered by several medical colleges that are affiliated to the University of Delhi.
Exam- The DPMT/DUMET is a single stage entrance test for admission into medical collages under University of Delhi.
1.) The DPMT/DUMET test consists of two papers.
2.) Paper I contains two sections of Physics and Chemistry.
3.) Paper II contains two sections of Botany and Zoology.
Each paper is of 2.30 hours duration containing multiple-choice objective type questions of maximum 600 marks.
