It is the fourth missile in the series of Agni missiles and was earlier known as Agni-II prime
In missile technology, Agni represents a quantum leap of its

With light weight, the missile has two stages of solid
propulsion and a payload with re-entry heat shield

Abhishikta S Shetty of Karnataka was crowned as the Miss South India 2014 at
the Le Meridien in Coimbatore.
Abhishikta was crowned by Anusha Venkataraman of Tamil Nadu,
who was the winner of the title of 2013. Founder Chairman of Pegasus is Ajith
Ravi. First runner-up Aditi and second runner-up Meghna were crowned by the MD

Australian fast baller Mitchell Johnson won the Allan Border medal at

The fast-bowler beat out competition from captain Michael

Author Cyrus Mistry beat
off stiff competition from five other writers to become the 4 winner of the
$50,000 DSC prize 201 for South Asian literature on Saturday for his book
“Chronicles of a Corpse Bearer”.
The prize, is given to the best work or translations of a
work on or about the South Asian region.
Cyrus Mistry book is
a story of marginalised community and looks at larger questions about life and
death.
Previous year the award was won by Jeet Thayil for his debut
debut novel “Narcopolis”.
Cyrus Mistry was
presented with the award at a ceremony at the Jaipur Literature Festival here
this evening by Gloria Steinem.
